Supporter van Schoon is the driving force behind the fight against litter in the Netherlands. As part of the team at iO Digital Agency, I collaborated with the organization to strengthen their digital presence. By shifting the focus from passive information to active participation, we created a platform that inspires volunteers and partners to take real action.
Strategy
Supporter van Schoon's mission is clear: fighting plastic pollution. The challenge lay in its digital translation. How do we ensure a visitor doesn't just read the information, but actually starts a cleanup action or joins an initiative? By restructuring the site architecture, we lowered the barriers to activation and made navigation more intuitive.
UX Refinement
I analyzed and refined crucial website elements and interactions, focusing on the supporter's 'user journey.' By optimizing key call-to-actions and improving the information hierarchy, the platform has become an effective tool that serves both the organization's goals and the needs of diverse target groups — from individuals to municipalities.
Experience
The result is a more accessible and user-friendly platform. The renewed structure encourages deeper engagement with the organization's mission. The platform now acts as a central hub that not only informs about plastic waste issues but also provides the user with the direct tools to become part of the solution.
