Ampify
A new social platform for musicians
As a hobbyist musician, I long struggled to find an easy way to meet local people with the same musical interests. Existing platforms felt outdated and weren't user-friendly. I knew it could be done better. I designed and developed Ampify as a new social platform for musicians.

The Idea
Searching for the right band members is a familiar struggle for many musicians: outdated message boards, cluttered Facebook groups, and platforms that seem stuck in the last century. Driven by my own frustration, I decided it was time for a change. Ampify was born from the need for a modern, intuitive platform where musicians can find each other locally based on instrument, genre, and ambition. What started as a hobby project evolved into a comprehensive application where strategy, design, and technology converge.
AI-Driven Development
Ampify is a prime example of how I embrace AI in my workflow. A significant portion of the code was developed with the support of LLMs. This allowed me, as a solo developer, to tackle a level of complexity that would normally require an entire team. Using AI in programming didn't just provide a massive speed boost; it offered a cost-effective way to bring a high-quality product to life.
Technology
The choice for Nuxt and Supabase was strategic. Nuxt provides the speed and SEO-friendliness a platform like Ampify requires, while Supabase serves as a powerful, scalable engine for data and authentication. This combination ensures that the platform not only runs smoothly now but is also ready for future growth. The result is tangible proof of how I combine vision, design, and modern tech into a solution that truly makes a difference for the user.
